In Memory of Big Louie

We remember and honour our founder, bandleader and friend,
“Big Louie” Zanotti, who passed away in August 2026. For more than four decades, Lou poured his passion, energy and unmistakable personality into Big Louie & The Band, creating far more than a musical group — he built a tradition that became part of countless celebrations and special occasions throughout Windsor-Essex and beyond. His commitment to great live music, his love of performing, and the friendships he formed along the way shaped the band and the people who have been fortunate enough to be part of it. While Lou may no longer be standing on stage with us, his influence remains in every note we play, every dance floor we fill, and every celebration we share. We are deeply grateful for the remarkable legacy he leaves behind, and we are honoured to carry his music and his spirit forward.
